Ricky Ephlen Arnold was born June 17, 1966 in Covington, Georgia to the late Mae Francis and Robert Arnold. He grew up in the Newton County Texas and graduated from Newton High School.

Ricky was a good-hearted man that meet no strangers. Once you met him, you never forgot him.

He met Brenda Traylor in 1994 and became a father figure to her children.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Robert and Mae Francis Arnold; sister, Tasha Lewis and brother, Cobra Lewis.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his significant other, Brenda Traylor; daughter, Khandi Harris; step-son; Andrew Traylor and Kevin Traylor; sisters, Brenda Hunter (Terrance); Shelby Wood (Henry), Mona Arnold-McBride (Ryan) and Felicia Arnold; brothers, Prentice Lewis, Jefferson Lewis and Christoher Arnold (Shontessa) and Leroy Arnold (Cynithia) and step brother, Emmit Hines.
