Rita L
Fowler
Nov 25, 1965 — Dec 12, 2024
Wiergate
Rita Louise Fowler was born in McNary, Arizona, on November 25, 1965, to the late Jimmie "Snowball" Fowler, Sr., and Maxine "Granny
Max" Steel Fowler. Rita attended Burkeville High School and graduated Class of 1983. Rita loved all of her classmates of 1983. The Class of 1983 remained close until Rita transitioned peacefully on December 12, 2024.
Rita dedicated 15 years of her life to the Department of Criminal Justice. Rita enjoyed her job. When Rita retired, that gave her the opportunity to spend more time with family and friends.
Rita was an active member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church until her health begin to fail. You would find Rita in the kitchen helping to
prepare the food and acting as "deputy" giving orders.
Rita leaves to cherish: her siblings, Jimmie Fowler, Jr., Regina Afenkhena, Sharon Fowler, Tina Bias (Lester Jr.), and Janita "Neat" Fowler; nieces and nephews, Ebony Fowler, Edmone Fowler, Sr. ( Shanise), Ashley Young (Jousha), Octavia Spikes, Jeremy Fowler, Jacobie Fowler, Hope Fowler, and Journee Fowler; great-nieces and great-nephews, Avery Carroll, Kasen Carroll, Zoey Young, Edmone Fowler Jr.(EJ), Olivia Young, and Jonah Young; Aunt Helen, Aunt Frankie Lee World (John), and Aunt Irma Jean World; and a host of relatives and friends.
When I come to the end of the road; And the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom-filled room; Why cry for a soul set free!
