Robert Lee Diggles was born April 6, 1958, to the late Obie Diggles and Ophelia Harris Diggles. He departed this life on November 24, 2025, at his home in Jasper, Texas. His brother, Willie Lee Diggles, passed away 2 years ago.

At an early age, Robert joined the Dixie Missionary Baptist Church where he served as deacon, choir member, and assisted in finance, attended Sunday school and brotherhood.

Robert attended Jasper High School and later moved to Houston. He returned home in the 80's, he worked at Kirby Lumber Company in Bon Wier, Texas and Louisiana Pacific in Jasper, Texas, while working on the farm of the late Congressman Jack Brooks. He was employed and retired after 23 years from the Texas Department of Parks and Wildlife Fish Hatchery in Jasper, Texas. He also worked for Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas.

Robert loved his family, community and the outdoors. He loved life but left us too soon.

He leaves to cherish his memories three children: one daughter, Lakesha Joseph-Oludare of Baytown, Texas; two sons, Keithton Diggles and Kendall Diggles (Toria) of Beaumont, Texas; five grandchildren, Cecil Harris, Keseun Oludare, Kairi Diggles, Wynter Diggles, and Damilola Oludare; and a life long friend, Tena Joseph Diggles; two sisters, Joyce Diggles Horn and Patsy Ann Diggles; a favorite niece: Parysha Diggles Castle (Larry) of Jasper, Texas; a host of cousins, other family and friends.

Robert is missed; but he will never be forgotten.
