Robert Lee Jefferson was born on June 7, 1949 to the late Boone and Beatrice White Jefferson. He attended school in Rockhill and Jasper where he was a proud member of the J.H. Rowe class of 1968.

At an early age, Robert joined the Rockhill Baptist Church and gave his life to Christ. He was a member there and regularly attended services until his health failed.

Robert had a quiet spirit and a kind soul. Even though he didn't say much, he loved his family. He was especially proud oh his nephews and nieces whom he treated like his own children.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Boone and Beatrice Jefferson; a sister, Benice Runnels; and a brother, C.K. Jefferson.

Cherishing his memory is his brother, Melvin Jefferson (Patricia); sister, Gracie Rhodes (Allen); sister-in-law, Bonnie Jefferson; and a multitude of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
