Robert Jerry Woods was born on March 8, 1959, to Jerry Woods and Celestine Kelly in Pineland, Texas.

He attended school in Jasper and graduated from Jasper High School in his early years. He worked in construction for many years.

On December 22, 2022, Robert was called away to his heavenly home. He will be greatly missed by his loved ones and friends.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry Woods and Celestine Kelly, and his sister, Beatrice Ramsey.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory: his children, Efrem Woods, Jason McQueen, La'Tresha Cade, and Reneka McQueen; grandchildren, Jayden, Ja'Tavien, Jay'Brien Cade, Keonte, Ti'Mya Love, Kaleb Barnes, and Kaliyah Jackson; great-granddaughter, Keira Jackson; siblings, Clorine Haynes, Ruby Johns, Harold Woods, Arthur Woods, Alice Gillis, Landria Fletcher, Sandria Randle, Clifton Woods, Sharon Rice, Cassandra Ramsey Hutchinson, Pamela Knot, Anthony Woods, and Patrick Woods; special friend, Larnell Brown; and a host of other relatives and friends.
