Ronald Eugene Davis was born February 4, 1963 to the late Walter Mae Spikes Davis and Gene Henry Davis in Newton County Texas. He was the third of four children.

Ronald accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized. He graduated from Burkeville High School in 1981.  In the first part of his life he worked in logging and later begin to work as a factory worker.

Ronald enjoyed basketball, football and dominos. He had a saying "Don't let money turn you against your people."

Ronald met the love of his life 19 years ago, his wife, Teresa Gates Davis.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Walter Mae Davis.

Ronald is gone but not forgotten. Those left to cherish his memories include: his wife, Teresa Davis; son, Deveron DeMarkus Davis; sisters, Alice Faye Davis and Gloria Jean Davis; brother, Richard Andrew Davis and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
