Rozetta Moran, known by many as "Billy," was the fourth of nine born on October 26, 1950, to the late Charlie Sr. and Earnestine Lane Moran in Jasper, Texas. She received her early education from J. H. Rowe. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a long-time member of Faith Temple Church. She attended Sunday school and morning worship service faithfully, until her health began to fail her.

Billy found joy in simply things – she enjoyed shopping or visiting the local Goodwill store on a regular basic, music, jewelry and a good game of dominoes. She also enjoyed going out to eat—as long as someone else was paying.

Billy was a warm caring person with a big heart. She opened her home to many in need. Billy enjoyed family and had a special love for babies and children. If anyone ever needed a babysitter, you could always count on her. She held a special bond in her heart for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Earnestine Moran; brothers, Charlie Moran, Jr., and Jimmy Moran; and sister, Gloria Haynes (Albert).

Rozetta leaves to cherish her memories: two sons, Patrick Moran (Tatia) and Gerald Moran; grandchildren, Kenisha Dickleman (Jeffrey), Mercedes Moran (Daria), Jasmyne Hafford, Shakayla Armstrong (Ben), Challiyah Brumley, Tabraja Gilford (Lyndon), Shakia Moran, Trey'Dvonte Moran, Taye'Sean Moran, Eucalia Moran, Jasee Trowbridge, Shalisha Scott, and Xavier Scott; 22 - great-grands; brothers, Albert Moran (Autie Bell) and David Moran; sisters, Charlsetta Scott, Claretta Thompson, and Mary Samuel (Sam); long time special friend Earnestine Spikes Adams; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
