On June 22, 2022, Mother Ruby Thomas passed away in Galveston, Texas.

Ruby Thomas was born on August 28, 1946, in Redding, California, to the late Dave Woods and Ruby Reno.

She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. Ruby was a lifelong member of Greater Old Field Church of God and Christ. She attended church until her health began to decline. Ruby served as the Greater Old Field Church's Mother and Pastor's Aid Leader for many years.

On Wednesday, June 22, 2022, she gained her wings to transition from this earthly life.

Awaiting her heavenly arrival are her parents, Dave Woods and Ruby Reno; husband, Marcell Thomas, Sr.; and loved one, Tammy Wright.

Everlasting love and memories are cherished by her children, Angie Wagner (Mack), Franky Thomas (Aundre), Marcell Thomas, Willy Jelks, and Cynthia McInnis (Azell; as well as many grandchildren.
