On July 10, 1931 Mr. Ed Adams and Tennie Harrison Adams welcomed a baby girl and named her Ruth Adams. She was the baby girl of six children and attended Rowe Schools in Jasper, Texas. At an early age she was baptized and attended church at the Christ Holy Sanctified Church.

While Ruth did not bear any children she was a mother to three generations of nieces and nephews who she loved and adored very much. She served as the family's reliable babysitter taking care of and helping to raise many. Ruth was full of life with an uncanny sense of humor. You were guaranteed to get a good laugh on every visit.

Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, four brothers; Arbie, Eddie, Galious and Richard Adams and her only sister, Safronia Adams Hadnot.

She leaves to cherish her memories two sister in laws, Helen Adams of Houston, Texas and Lee Adams of Jasper, Texas: and a host of nieces and nephews. Ruth will be missed by many in Jasper.
