Steve Ronald Cooper was born to Leonard and Ruthie Mae Kyles Cooper in Kirbyville, Texas, on August 24, 1953.

He moved to Mississippi at an early age and worked offshore there for many years. He later returned home to where he was raised in Magnolia Springs, Texas.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Ruthie Mae (Kyles) Cooper; one brother, Willard Gene Cooper; and one sister, Jo-Ellen Cooper.

He leaves to cherish his loving memory: his two brothers in Orange, TX, David Cooper and Dennis Cooper; one brother in Magnolia Springs, TX, John Robert Cooper; one brother in Beaumont, TX, Mark Cooper; one brother and one sister in Jasper, TX, Leonard Cooper and Sheila Carter; five sisters in Magnolia Springs, TX, Belinda Moran, Mae Cooper, Patsy Beatty, Marilyn Samuel, and Shamika Cooper; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
