Theado Carter Jr., was born May 19, 1957, to Theado Carter Sr., and Vera Mae. He united with Westside Church of Christ and was baptized. Theado completed elementary school and went on to attended Jasper High School.

Later he developed a skill as a truck driver. He was a valuable employee to various companies in the trucking industry throughout his life. After high school, he joined the Army National Guard in 1974. He was known for trucking for over 30 years. He resided in Jasper, TX.

Theado leaves to cherish his memories: four daughters, Vera Hadnot-Palmer (Julian) of Bedford, TX, Tanya Henderson of Jasper, TX, Valerie Henderson of Houston, TX, and Kimberly Grant of Huntsville, TX; one son, Theodis Lee Cater of Beaumont, TX; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Edward Carter (Louise) of Jasper, TX, and Ralph Stevenson of Lufkin, TX; three sisters, Valeria Kelly (Mitchell) of Kirbyville, TX, Irma Miller (Ivory) of Beaumont, TX, and Sherry Grant (John) of Mesquite, TX; a host of family and friends.
