Todd W. Hicks was born January 29, 1978 in Jasper, Texas to Mr. James Hooks and Ms. Mary Hicks. He attended public school in Jasper, Texas. He later made his home in Beaumont, Texas at the JubiLee Group Home.

Todd resided at the Jubilee Group Home in Beaumont Texas for 16 years. Todd was a friendly and easy like person. He did not meet a stranger. He was a huge fan of the Jasper Bulldogs. He worked at Richard Restaurant, busting tables, and washing dishes. He worked at Beaumont Product cleaning parks.

Todd was a member of Pleasant Green Missionary Baptist Church in Beaumont Texas where Pastor Carl M. Fontenot Sr is the shepherd. He participates in the Brotherhood Department. Prior to his death he attended The Gospel Center Church in Beaumont Texas where Pastor Donnie Flippo is the shepherd. Todd attended bible study and helped around the church. Todd had a love for musical instrument. His favorite instrument was the drums. Most of the time Todd will have his drumstick beating on something. He enjoyed listening to church music and preaching.

Todd will be greatly missed by his Jubilee family and friends.

He leaves to cherish his everlasting memories; his parents, Mary Hicks and James Hooks (Claydia Collins); sisters, Tina Hicks and Christina Hicks; brothers, David Hicks and Chris Hicks a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, other relatives and community friends.
