Tommy "Skeeta" Grant was
born on March 18, 1978, to
the late Tommy Mays and Ola
Grant in Jasper, Texas. He
accepted Christ at an early age
at Gilgal Baptist Church.
Tommy began his early years of education in the Japer
Independent Schools. He was a proud graduate of Jasper
High School class of 1996. Tommy was a people's person
and could always be found with laughter not far. He
enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was
the life of any event.
Tommy was preceded in
death by his father, Tommy
Mays; mother, Ola Grant; one
brother, Patrick Grant; and
grandparents, Dennis and
Lola Grant and President and
Parthener Mays.
Tommy leaves behind everlasting memories: three
children, Nakeeja Grant, Tahj Grant and Tommy Grant
Jr.; two grandchildren, Jkhylin Hartsfi eld and Jasiah
Hartsfi eld; fi ve sisters, Cordelia Grant, Yasmin Grant,
Gabrielle Grant, Amber Young
(Eric) and Talove Barlow; and
a host of aunts, uncles, nieces,
nephews, other relatives and
friends who he loved dearly.
