Willie Lee Diggles was born April 4, 1956, to the late Obie Diggles and Ophelia Harris Diggles. He departed this life on September 27, 2023, at Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center in Houston, Texas. At an early age, Willie joined the Dixie Baptist Church. He attended Jasper High School and later the Job Corp. Then he later enlisted in the United States Navy. He worked many years at Bethlehem Steel Shipyard in Beaumont, Texas. Willie loved life, family, and friends. He never met a stranger.

Willie leaves to cherish his memories: his four daughters, Tannetta Garlington (Ronald) and Tasha Diggles of Baytown, Texas, Michelle Diggles of Sour Lake, Texas, and Chalonda Williams of Houston, Texas; one son, Obie Diggles (Rashanda) of Baytown, Texas; two sisters, Patsy Ann Diggles and Joyce Horn of Jasper, Texas; one brother, Robert Lee Diggles of Jasper, Texas; special niece, Parysha Castle (Larry) of Jasper, Texas; special friends, Carol Monroe, Troy Bluitt, Greg Bluitt, and Gail Scott; loving father-in-law, Mr. Curley Monroe; six stepchildren; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
