Willie Herman Monroe was born September 23, 1939 in Jasper Texas to the late Herman and Audrey Monroe. He accepted Christ and united with the Greater New Bethel Baptist Church. Willie Herman received his education at J.H. Rowe School, class of 1959. He later moved to Chicago, IL, where he had gain employment with various companies. He later moved to Dallas, Texas were he was employed with Lone Star Playwood. He later met and married Margaurette Monroe who preceded in death in October 2008. He joined St. Paul Free Will where he was a deacon and attended faithfully until deathe.

Wille Herman was preceded in death by his wife, Margaurette Monroe; two brothers, Homer Sheppard Jr., James Lewis Monroe; two sisters; Dorothy Holmes and Mary Ashworth.

Willie Herman leaves to cherish his memories, son, Derick Monroe of Dallas, Texas; two daughters, LaSonja Rawls of Dallas, Texas and Detra Monroe of Jasper, Texas; four sisters, Annie Hawthorne (Harvey Sr.) of Jasper, Texas, Edna Macklin of Memphis, TN, Lucetta Malone and Helen Monroe both of Dallas, Texas; three brothers, Eugene Monroe and Earnest Monroe (Belinda) both of Jasper, Texas and Jessie Monroe (Connie) of Balch Springs, Texas; a special aunt, Mary Breckenridge of Jasper, Texas; 9  grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
