YOLANDA GAIL HUNTER was born to Wanda Faye and TC Hunter, who preceed her in death, along with her brother, Marcus "Catman" Hunter (Dorthy), and sister, Paula Hunter.

Yolanda lived in the Shankleville Community in Newton county, Texas. She attended Burkeville High School and later started her career working in the healthcare field as a provider for 20 years until her health failed her in 2017. She went to be with the lord on February 9, 2026.

She is survived by her: three loving sons which were her pride and joy, Dvonte Spearman, Malik Spearman (Ikeyia), and Lorenzo Hunter of Shankleville, Texas; 12 grandchildren; devoted brother, Terrance Hunter (Brenda) of Shankleville, Texas; two sisters, Tashaella Bennett (Christopher) of Crosby, Texas, and Monica Williams of Jasper, Texas; and a host of nieces/nephews.
